Dat Strap Leather Guitar Strap - Dark Brown

The strap came in in a nice paper box along with 2 steel picks (do not have much use for them, but they look nice) and 2 rubber strap lock rings with Dat Strap branding. Out of the box the strap felt really nice and already broken in. As advertised, there are 2 layers of leather with a foam material in between. The result is a thick and comfortable strap. The upper side is nice and soft, the inner side is suede. That part has excellent grip. It took some time for me to get used to it (esp. compared to my previous nylon strap), but now I really like the stability it provides. This would make a big difference to someone who suffers a neck dive with their instrument. Assembly and adjustment of the strap was easy and straightforward. This brings me to the only issue I've had. The holes at both ends are quite smallish (just the holes, not the cuts) - the strap pins are kind of too wide to fit those holes and the strap can be quite easily detached. Luckily this issue got perfectly fixed by the attached rubber strap lock rings (and I like the resulting look as well). Overall this strap has fully satisfied me and provides features that are present only on more expensive straps.
